Yes it does apply to you:
The only way a meeting can run safely is to have all the track covered by marshals, this means that everyone that expects to race is required to supply one person to act as a marshal. (Except for Autos)
Your marshal point will be allocated to you by the chief marshal when you sign on , You usually will be expected to cover your allocated point for either the morning or afternoon races. The chief marshal will call you over the tannoy when you are needed, please listen for the call and report to race control to sign on and collect your flags and bib before you take your place on the track. Please be prompt the racing cannot commence until all the marshals are in place. If you don't turn up for your marshaling duties your rider will be taken off the line.
