This is the report sent to the TMX - By Maryann Mell

For Round 6 of their Summer Championship CJSC woke up to sunny day at Finningley this Sunday, a different scenario to the first visit earlier in the year following heavy rain.

First out were the Autos, in the first race Ben Ruddick took the early lead, but a battling Chris Mills stole it from him only to then fall off, Ben Ruddick then capitalised on his mistake and took the race win, with Ross Innocent in second.  Races 2 and 3 there were no errors from young Christopher Mills who led both races from start to finish with the consistent Ross Innocent taking second place and Ben Ruddick in third, and that's how the overall stood at the end of the day.

Next, the Junior 65s, Ryan Snaith won all 3 races confidently with the charging pack chasing him changing each race.  In race 1 Danny Mell tried to track him down with Ryan Vickers hot on his heels.  In race 2 it was Eddie Remmer that pipped Danny Mell to the second place spot, and in race 3 a flying Gradie Featherstone from Lewis Houghton.   Ryan Snaith took the overall, from birthday boy Danny Mell in 2nd and Lewis Houghton in 3rd.

The Small Wheel 85 took to the gates next Ben Watson taking a clean sweep in all 3 races.  Behind Ben there were some terrific battles going on, in race one Tom Neal dominated second place until Joe Collier got past him on the last lap.  race 2 saw Rob Davidson charge to second place with Tom Neal taking 3rd place. race 3 Joe Collier was back on form again to take second place from Tom Neal.  Ben Watson took 1st place overall from Tom Neal in second and Joe Collier in 3rd.

The big wheel 85 races were monopolised by Bryn Clark and Jake Millward in 1st and 2nd place respetively.  Further down the pack there were various battle ensuing but in race 1 Ryan Houghton took 3rd place, race 2 Ryan Campion and race 3 Nathan Watson.  Some excellent riding from this group left the overall positions being Bryn Clark 1st, Jake Millward 2nd and Ryan Houghton 3rd.

The Adult Open followed with some fast and furious racing up at the front.  Race 1 saw Jack Rowland take the race win from Richie Worrall and Mat White.  Race 2 Richie Worrall took the race win from Mat White in 2nd and Tom Fish 3rd.  In race 3 Richie Worrall and Tom Fish battled for 1st place with Richie taking the race win and Mat White in 3rd place.  Richie Worrall took 1st place overall from Mat White in 2nd and Ben Howard who had racked up 3 consistant 4th places took the 3rd place overall.

The final group of the day were the Schoolboy 125s.  Josh Spinks dominated races 1 and 3 and Sean Satchwell took the race win in race 2.  They were constatantly being chased by Richard Carter who had a 2nd and 2 3rds, Jamie Houghton 2nd in race 1, Lewis Meadows and Craig Maddock.  However at the end of the day Josh Spinks took 1st place overall, from Richard Carter in 2nd and Craig Maddock in 3rd.

Well done to all the riders who put on a spectacle for us all.  Special thanks to Doncaster Moto Parc for a well prepared track and for the help from all the staff, and also thanks to everyone that helped out and especially the marshals.  Roll on Rounds 7 and 8 at Culham on 19th and 20th July.
